Every winter, Birdwatch Ireland carries out an extensive survey right across Ireland. The Irish Garden Bird Survey is carried out in over a thousand gardens in Ireland and gives valuable information about the status of different birds throughout Ireland. The garden birds featured in this gallery are all included in the survey.
