Stonechat

The Stonechat is resident in all coastal areas of the country but is not often seen in the rest of the country. It is most often seen away from cultivated areas where the ground is scrubby, and often seen where there is gorse.

 

Best Sites

Turvey Nature Reserve in North Dublin and East Coast Nature Reserve in Wicklow are both good locations to see Stonechats.
