Reed Bunting

The Reed Bunting is common throughout Ireland and can be found in grassland and farmland areas as well as wetlands. It feeds on seeds and grains and can easily be spotted around harvest time when grains are being harvested.

Best Sites

Most parkland areas. The wetland reed beds in East Coast Nature Reserve are a good place to find Reed Buntings.
