Knot

The Knot migrates to Ireland in winter from Greenland and Northern Canada. They can often ve seen in large flocks in tidal estuaries or on beaches that have large areas of sand exposed at low tide.

Best Sites

Most tidal estuaries. Bull Island in Dublin is a good place to see them, often in huge flocks.
