The Jay can be found wherever there is broad leaf woodland in Ireland. It is present in many of the parks throughout the country and is one of the most colourful birds in Ireland

Best Sites

A good place to see Jay is in Glendalough where there are plenty of oak trees. It can also be seen in the Phoenix Park in Dublin, often near the visitor centre.
