Black Headed Gull

Black Headed Gull

The Black Headed Gull is a common winter visitor to Ireland, although smaller numbers stay throughout the summer. According to Birdwatch Ireland, numbers are declining in Ireland and as a result they are red listed. You will typically find them in all coastal regions of IReland and also inland along the Shannon River.
